Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarships, applicants must meet specific academic and age requirements. Here’s what you need to know:
Undergraduate Level (Pharmacy):- Applicants must have completed A-Level studies in 2022 or 2023.
- A minimum grade of ‘C’ in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required.
- A minimum GPA of 3.60 in a relevant field.
- At least two years of work experience is required.
- A maximum age limit of 40 years at the time of application.
- Undergraduate: Must not exceed 25 years.
- Masters: Must not exceed 35 years.
- PhD: Must not exceed 40 years.
Applicants already holding government scholarships or scholarships from other sponsors, such as the Hungarian Stipendium, are not eligible to apply.

Applicants must complete the following steps to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship:
Download the Application Form:- Visit the Ministry of Education and Sports website: www.education.go.ug.
- Alternatively, submit a typed application letter along with a recent passport photograph.
- In your application, provide your age, sex, chosen course, home district, telephone contact, email address, and academic qualifications.
- Attach photocopies of your academic certificates and transcripts.
- Address your application to: The Secretary, Central Scholarships Committee, Ministry of Education and Sports.
- Deliver it to: The Department of Admissions Scholarships and Student Affairs, Legacy Towers, 2nd Floor, Wing B, Kyadondo Road – Kampala.

- Passport Requirement: Applicants must possess a valid passport or show evidence of an application for one.
