As the political scene heats up at ISBAT University, an all-around Nataganza Belinda Comfort wraps students within the wings of comfort. She sweeps the students off their feet with her vibrant, inclusive, supportive agenda that centers solidary for all. Being a dedicated member of the community, she seeks to create an echo system whose voices are spoken out loud through her stunning vocals. She prophesies a collective effort with the guild president and other leaders to implement academic excellence, mental well-being, and student engagement.
Why her?
If leadership had a face, it most likely would be her. She attributes empathy, approachability, flexibility, integrity, confidence, and visions with no blur. What else would be required of a leader? An incarnate of Moses seeking to lead the community to a land promised by its founders. She’s got all covered under her assurance of servant leadership, professional ethics, and politics as clean as a cloth soaked in detergent.
What is it in her that makes her draw her
name in bold on the ballots?
Well, we dive into her objectives and place the ball
in the hands of the voters
Representation and advocacy: Timely feedback to
student voices on matters of welfare when it comes to financial access and
bursaries, to bridge the gap between the diverse backgrounds.
Community building; A covalent bond, free from
disintegration is within her craftsmanship. These include alumni networks and long-term
relationships between recent graduates and those continuing. She pulls everyone
by the nose, not leaving a trace of doubt on matters concerning unity.
Cultural and social engagement: She aspires to root
the fraternity to ancestral trees that is showcased freely in a conducive environment
for all races.
A blend of creativity and academics: She wills to
identify potential and elevate it to the next level without forgetting the core
values of the institution transforming Uganda’s education scenery.
Last but not least, as a leader, she seeks to produce offsprings
that fit into her shoes when the time for goodbyes knocks on her doors.
For what is a university without experience, probably
a flight to London with eyes closed. That’s how an ISBAT with her would be. Natangaza
